Nota d'usoDi solito in inglese si usano due sostantivi diversi per indicare un animale e la sua carne. Quando ci si riferisce al maiale come animale si usa “pig”, mentre quando si parla della carne il termine corretto in genere è “pork”: Non mangio carne di maiale, I don't eat pork (non I don't eat pig). -
